A Creative Summer Afternoon: Watercolor & Blooms at Green Willow Gardens
Last summer, we had the pleasure of hosting a truly special event at Green Willow Gardens—a watercolor workshop and bouquet bar in collaboration with Alexandra N Designs. It was a beautiful afternoon filled with creativity, color, and of course, fresh-cut flowers from our farm.
Attendees began the workshop by learning basic watercolor techniques from Alexandra, gaining confidence in their brushstrokes before creating their own floral watercolor paintings. It was amazing to see each person’s unique artistic interpretation of our farm’s blooms!
After the painting session, guests made their way to our bouquet bar, where they hand-selected flowers to craft their own arrangements. Watching everyone bring their creativity to life—first on paper and then in floral form—was truly inspiring.
Despite the heat of the day, everyone stayed in great spirits, enjoying the peaceful farm atmosphere and the joy of making something with their own hands. Rachel Evelyn Photography beautifully captured the magic of the afternoon, from delicate brushstrokes to stunning finished bouquets.
It was an absolute pleasure to host Alexandra and all who attended. We loved seeing the talent, creativity, and joy that filled the farm that day!
